When I first started my business, I was very proud of the formal education I received at Sir Sandford Fleming College (Environmental Pest Management). It seemed appropriate to name the business “Atlantic Graduate”. After many years Atlantic Graduate Lawn Care and Pest Control is still a locally owned business and is not affiliated with any national business or franchise organization. Island resident Robert Gallant, the business proprietor.

A word from the owner, Robert Gallant:

Since Graduating from Environmental Pest Management in 1993, my goal is to achieve a pest-free environment for facilities where pest management is of the utmost importance (restaurants, hospitals, schools, food processing, residential, commercial, industrial, etc). This is best achieved by an integrated pest management program (I.P.M.).

IPM is a combination of pest monitoring, good sanitation practices, education, appropriate solid waste management, and physical-mechanical and biological pest control. As a last resort, pesticides are used in a manner that will assure no exposure and the potential risk to people and the environment.

Our services include control of rats, mice, cockroaches, silverfish, weevils, beetles and non-wood-boring ants. We also do fly control, outdoor insect, rodent and wild animal control, bird control and lawn care.

Emergency Service: Available 24/7

Reports: At the conclusion of each visit, a report checking off structural problems, sanitation conditions, presences of pests (as indicated by monitoring boards) and products used.

Application Practices: Chemical usage patterns, as described in registration, are strictly adhered to in our performance of services. We will provide you with pertinent information on all products that may be used in or around your facility as well as procedures of safe application. Most indoor infestations can be controlled with alternatives to pesticides. No pesticide shall be used without prior approval. As new products or techniques become available, we use them to reduce any safety concerns. When it comes to the safety of the public and the environment, we at Atlantic Graduate think there should be no guesswork in the use of pesticides.

Benefits of our services: Health concerns: By reducing the presence of insect and rodents you are reducing the chances of your customers, staff and yourself coming in contact with disease and viruses that may be carried by these pests.

Please feel free to contact me with any information about our services.
